Goodbye to 5 Arden

The house I lived in for my early years is to be sold soon. Saying goodbye is going to be harder than I think it will be. Although it has been many years sinse I have lived there, it is still home. Even without furniture, and a tv. But dad and I make due with the fuzzy 9 inch to watch world cup soccer and breakfast at Wimbleton. As it turns out, a bed on the floor, and it is home. The family has been frantikly working to get the house ready at a slow pace. I did some "real work" and some not "real work" that when in the midst, these jobs seem like they will never be completed. Yet, the sense of accomplishment when finished is rewarwing, and I guess the new owners will be happy.
But saying goodbye is not going to be easy. 5 arden will always be home and I can visit, being that my bro and nephew live in the house right behind 5 arden.
Anyway if your looking for a house in farmingville, LI...

On the flip side i am very excited to have the new home completed. My dad and Bernadette are renovating Bernadettes house in bayshore and so far it looks wonderful. They have designed a family room and ground in being broken as we speak. New memories will be made and the old memories reminsed. Plus, it is closer to Brooklyn.

And good for you LB on your first apartment. It was alot of fun setting the place up. Notice I did not say anything about the moving part. But, after all is said and done, and all the work is completed, my family and I will sit back and enjoy all the new changes as a new time begins.

later. z
